"...conclude that “conventional medicine” and “the science” is corrupt, untrustworthy, and against them." This is just more of the low fat, high carb diets that have been pushed for several decades that have made the population obese and diabetic. Most Doctors are by and large to stupid or to lazy to understand diets, cholesterol, etc. and are a THREAT to our well being IMO. This is really a LOT worse than you think IMO. You and others are rare examples compared to most doctors treating the public.

I strive to do what I think is right by the data and intellectual integrity. That's all I will say on this.

Such junk science is equal to the doctor who just made up data that showed an association between vaccinations and autism. He was later disbarred from practicing medicine because of his scientific fraud.

I'm sure the authors would appreciate your analogy -- being sarcastic ;)

My grandfather lived to be 98. He knew every plant that grew on his land and what medicinal properties it had. I wish I had written that knowledge down. That doesn't mean his dietary advice was sacrosanct, but he once told me, "Meat is food, plants are medicine." He thought plants were for healing us, not killing us, but he also said that you don't need medicine if you're not sick. The only "medicines" he took regularly were hot sauce, onions, and alcohol. He would put butter and salt on a raw onion and eat it like an apple. 😁

Critical thinking is fast becoming a never attained skill among many Americans. It’s high time education standards are brought up to at least the standards of the top ten countries in the world. Ranking in the bottom 40’s isn’t cutting it. The US population deserves better.
