Nick people like Dr Paul Mason say fish oil purchased at the supermarket is generally oxidized and unhealthy. Do you recommend a particular brand?

"... small, consistent positive health habits ..." — 100%!!

That's the bull's eye to aim at. Lifetime habits of sleep, movement, sunlight, laughter, "healthy food" (I won't quibble with Vegans, but my bias is Meat•Eggs•Dairy•Seafood [M•E•D•S] with avoidance of kibble) entrained in circadian harmony.

p.s. IMHO, measurements are important because quantifiable indices allow trends to be analyzed. But, which measurements, —cholesterol (sic) or triglyceride/HDL? One leads down the slippery slope of statins, the other to a more wholistic approach.

Lastly, we know that chronically elevated hbA1c lowers lifespan and healthspan. But some of us opine that the often neglected βOHB can promote lifespan and healthspan.

Combining logic plus multiple measurements taken in context of each other is a potent combination for health. Too much reliance on one metric is a slippery slope indeed

you always reach my attention :))))))) such as HRV the absolute values are less relevant to trends! The longevity field is amazing, exciting, but sometimes we miss the basics

It’s clear Brian shaves his chest. As has been shown numerous times by different people in social media, often using clips from commercials touting various exercise routines or weight machines, etc., the person’s before and after pictures show great definition. If you are paying attention, their chest area is often hairy and then it’s clean shaven in the ‘after.’ Just an observation.

Has there been a similar trial with women? What about sun exposure ? I love all of your posts, Nick. Keep up the good work!

I think both Tom Brady and Brian Johnson have benefited greatly from years of conscientious health seeking behavior. As the technology grows, maybe some of these testings will become more valid or at least trusted. But we know the small daily actions with intention towards longevity work. To your question which one looks healthier, Brian or Tom, obviously Tom. Because like a guy told me one time, “even fat looks better when it’s got a tan“ 😂😂😂 I’m also the same age as then.
